Madhuban Agro Farms, 2nd July 2026 in Pimpalwadi, Dhodhani, Panvel, SAHAS organized a targeted healthcare and hygiene camp for the Katkari and Thakar tribal communities, indigenous tribes residing in small hamlets (wadis) surrounding the dense Matheran-Prabalgad forest range. SAHAS held a health awareness camp for tribal children of Katkari and Thakar communities at Madhuban Agro Farms, Pimpalwadi, Dhodhani, Panvel. To make them aware of the importance of daily healthy habits, every attending woman was provided with a healthcare and hygiene kit consisting of essential items like toothbrush, toothpaste, and sanitary pads. The kit also contained calcium and vitamin supplements with clear written instructions in Marathi.

SAHAS decided to advance her annual day celebrations to May 27, 2026, because the heat was killing and homeless children needed whatever help they could get. To make our anniversary special, we gathered kids and their mothers selling flowers at street corners and signals to share chaas and donuts with. The lovely smiles and ‘thanks yous’ from them were the highlight of our day and also the beacon to take us forward in our mission.

In the heat of scorching summer, SAHAS decided that something needed to be done about the people who make our travel easy. We decided not to wait till June 03 our Annual Day and distributed chaas and donuts to the traffic police at various places drawing grateful smiles from them. We had our reward.

May 24, 2026 – Mulund Again friends from IDBI took it upon themselves now to reach the central suburbs of Mumbai and invited them to learn about the work done by SAHAS.

March 22, 2026 – Kharghar Friends of SAHAS, thought to showcase the work done over the years by arranging a musical afternoon at Kharghhar. The event was hosted by retired IDBIites. The programme also hosted singers from Shree Swami Samarth Sangeet Parivaar. A well attended programme taking SAHAS to a wider circle.
