Career Counselling and Guidance on Friday May 23, 2025

SAHAS along with BECC organised a Career Counselling and Guidance conducted by Shri Vraj Patel on Friday May 23, 2025 for 10^th and 12^th Class Students

Shri Vraj Patel having come from Saurashtra, Gujarat after completing his SSC found it tough to compete and clear IAS and UPSC exams due to lack of proper guidance and inability to purchase books due to poverty.  He served as Superintendent of Service Tax at the Central Excise and Customs Department until retirement and simultaneously made available a library of almost 4 lakh books on various academic subjects to aspiring and deserving students. A

voluntary career guide, gives guidance, tips and career counselling to students he agreed to conduct a session for our children.

The career guidance session conducted by Mr Vraj Patel was a success beyond expectations!

Children came with their parents and enthusiastically participated. They asked queries and intelligently answered the questions put forth by Mr Patel. Mr Patel stressed that primarily three subjects viz. English, Math and Logical Reasoning are required for any future aptitude test. Hence as examples, to give a glimpse of the requirement for exams. on English, Math and Logical Reasoning, Mr Patel asked questions based on the three subjects, which the children showed a great interest to solve and answer. They showed a great desire to meet up with him again.
