Children are the future of humanity. They are our hope. Our aspiration. Lakhs of children roam the streets without home or family. Education is a far cry when your very existence is in question. The true figure became larger during the post-COVID pandemic as many more people from the country's lowest quarter got impacted. We need your help to bring down the numbers.

Even the smallest contribution is like the ‘little drops of water...’ making a huge difference to at least one life. We depend on your generosity to be able to create real change for India’s children! All Indian citizens above the age of 18 years can be sponsors. It provides unique opportunity to get to know and work with students outside the classroom. The reward of watching a group of students grow and develop their individual skills and talents is immense, giving one a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment through making a special contribution to a group of students. The sponsor receives updates from the child, typically including photos and letters, which help create the feeling of a personal relationship with the child.

SAHAS has been formed with the express intention of giving back to society what we have received from her. We, who have been fortunate to receive basic and higher education have been thus equipped to match the challenges life throws at all of us.

But there are many less privileged. With no basic amenities to cope with daily existence. However, to be able to face the challenges of society, education is a must and with that aim, we at SAHAS have made it our mission to be able to provide education to some. We are in touch with various schools to initiate a tuition assistance program for "academically inclined and financially weak" students. The larger goal is to provide yearly assistance on continual basis based on academic performance through Standard 10th. A new group of students may be selected next year should the academic performance of the sponsored students is deemed “not satisfactory” by the school or the donor. Thus, every year we would be able to help more such students.

To start with, till help comes in from you, we the founder members of SAHAS have decided to sponsor one child each of us so that at least half a dozen children are taken care of this academic year.
The SAHASIs are desiring to put some of these kids through school, with your help. A small amount of Rs 8000/- a year is enough to put a child through school. The decision is yours:

 You select the child
 You select your payment method
 Once we receive the money, we fund the project
 You gift a vulnerable child a better future
 A report with photo is sent to all the donors who contributed towards that need

Note: If the particular need is already fulfilled by the time you gift, your contribution will be directed to other similar needs and you will be informed of the same.
